Basically, you have to select 3 firms from the fortune 500 list. One must be categorized as limited diversified. the second as related diversified, and the third as unrelated diversified. You have to reach this classification by reviewing their primary and secondary SIC codes classification (standard industries codes, Department of Labor). You can find these corporate SIC codes website. Once you are in the database website, you can input the name of the company you selected and click on the industry classification, select “all classifications” and you will have the primary and secondary SIC codes. You will need to submit a printed page with the 3 firms and their respective categorization and your arguments supporting your classification
